Excited?? Me toooo As as Child it was always my dream to visit it once, meet and play with my favorite Disney characters like Mickey mouse, Donald Duck etc and till now it was just a wait. But now this dream will be fulfilled soon 🙂

The tourism infrastructure development department has proposed to develop a Disney Theme Park in the city complete with exciting rides and various entertainment options. The proposed sites for the theme parks are near to Devanahalli or on the Bengaluru-Tumkur road.

This will be the 4th theme park for the Bengaluru and will be 10 times larger than its existing theme parks .

If everything goes well Disneyland will be the India’s biggest theme park. It will have a great combination of rides for kids and adults alike and emerge as a popular entertainment hub not only for Bangalore but for nearby towns as well.

As far as the budget and land is concerned, the requirement may be upto 800 to 1000 acres with Rs. 100 crores of investment.

Kevin Murphy, president, PATA, said: “With many young people coming forward to revamp tourism development in India, it appears that the sector is in for a major boost. However, we want the government to allow visa-on-arrival applications to be reinvented so that more international tourists can make multiple entries to this part of the world and business travelers can also make tourism commitments.”

With Disneyland coming in it will be not only beneficial to the country as it will generate lot of revenues and jobs but will also provide great opportunity to Indians who otherwise have to spend huge amount to travel foreign countries to visit the magical land.
